Salary Advance:- Money World Ltd. will provide money for clients in advance of the time when their salary is due. You have to become a member of Money World Ltd. in order to obtain this benefit. To obtain funds in advance of salary, the client must have steady employment and he must sign a Letter Of Direction for that part of his next salary cheque to be assigned to Money World Ltd.. In addition to the Letter Of Direction , the client also has to complete a personal post dated cheque for the total repayment amount, plus 1st party cheque cashing fee, at the time of the salary advance.The charge for this service is 1 % per week or part thereof , plus 3.9 % of the advance, plus $12.95 per week service charge, if the loan is repaid in cash.The maximum amount advanced is 50 % of the client’s net salary to a maximum of $500.00. Cheque Cashing:- Money World Ltd. will provide a service of cashing cheques for its members. The standard charge is 2.9 % of the face value of the cheque, plus a service charge of $4.99 for a 2nd party cheque. For a 1st party cheque, the cost is 7.9 % of the face value of the cheque, plus a service charge of $9.99. This service provides a convenient alternative to the Banks who are opened for limited hours and who are unwilling to cash cheques unless you have an account with them. Membership:- Any one who wishes to do business with Money World Ltd. must become a member of Money World Ltd.. Membership is for one year and has to be renewed annually. The membership fee is$40.00. Each member will be given a Photo ID card, which will be good for one year. Currency Exchange:- Money World will exchange US and EC currency at favourable rates.Sell $US -EC$2.80 plus 2% service charge. (US$100.00 will cost EC$280.00 + $5.60= EC$285.60), Sell $US-EC$2.80 plus 2% service charge.
